Lingueo is a recognized leader in online language training, operating across public institutions and private organizations. But as the demand for large-scale, personalized language evaluation grew, they needed a smarter way to assess skills, instantly and reliably.

They partnered with Rakam to build an AI-powered assessment engine that measures both written and spoken language abilities, aligned with CEFR standards. The system now delivers real-time results, with traceability and transparency built into every score.

The Challenge

Lingueo’s training programs required a scalable way to evaluate learners' language levels, accurately, fairly, and fast. Manual evaluations were too slow. Off-the-shelf tools lacked customization and didn’t offer clear explanations behind results.

The system analyzes both written responses and spoken audio to determine a learner’s level. It follows CEFR criteria for grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and coherence.
